Clarification!!!

So, I love my wife, and it is only because of her that I was able to get through the MBA program. I'm proud of her for sticking with my grumpy [insert adjective] throughout this whole process! But, I must say that she is talking me up more than she should in the preceding post. But, that's why I love her, she always makes the kids and I feel special! She is an amazing wife, friend and mother.
Speaking of Mothers' Day, Happy Mother's day to you all.
We're looking forward to seeing you all at our party Saturday, and hope you will stay for the blessing Sunday.
Take care,
-Ace

Update on Dallas

He is doing great! His voice is much higher, but we can understand him so much better! Exciting news on our home front ... Ace passed orals! Not only did he pass orals but his assessors told him he was fantastic and that he had thought of a solution that Harvard had not. I always knew he was totally amazing and brilliant! So he will be graduating in May and we will also be blessing Miss Sofi! What a great month for our family!

Ahhh...Life with a three year old... can be amazing!

Dallas riding his horse with his cape!
Ace and Sofi.
Sofi already for Easter.
You can tell that we may play guitar hero a bit much at our house. This Sunday one of our friends told us that the sunbeams were singing and that Dallas was totally jamming out on the guitar. He was doing the windmill. That's right in primary! I think it's fantastic. I taught primary and the best part is that the children are so individual and surprise you with random, awesome things. I am so glad that my son is one of those that could put a smile on the primary teachers face. Nothing better as a mom. We are so excited Ace is back to working normal hours and loving it! So are we! Sometimes I think it's easier to be at work then home and would be nice for him to go back to the office, but he's a good sport and laughs most of the time.
Sofi is doing well. We are amazed at how much she is growing and changing each day. It's as if they grow right in front of you! I am just enjoying being at home and not to excited to go back to work, but glad that I am going back to just three days a week, as opposed to the five days that I did when we had D.
Friday is Dallas's surgery and really not a moment to soon because he is starting to get sick again, the whole eyes and nose draining with a cough. Right now he is hanging on my back and swaying back and forth to the music. Man I love this kid.

YOU'RE OPERATING ON WHAT??????

Jyl and Dallas Jay met with Dr. McGee, the Ear Nose and Throat Specialist in town. He has limited to no hearing in his right ear, and very little hearing in his left ear. His tonsils are inflamed to the size of Rhode Island, as are his adenoids.

So, on April 17, the little tyke is going to get tubes in both ears, and they're ripping out the excess. Hopefully they leave some of the gray matter in between!!!!

Jyl said that he was so brave when they drew his blood. We are truly blessed to have the little squirt in our lives.

So, now you know why our son is so insanely loud!!! He can't hear squat!!! I feel bad because I've been getting after him for being too loud and not listening. Well, it's not really his fault. He's just nearly deaf. I feel like a heel!

Anyways, just wanted to keep you all up to date.

Take care!

-Ace

More pictures!

How sweet it is!

The kids!

It is so crazy to refer to us as having children! It still shocks me every time! We are finally starting to get better at our house. I have never been sick for this long, ever. I don't know what is up! Ace is finally getting better too, but it has taken several trips to the doctor and prescriptions galore. I hope our family doesn't have to go through that again. Fortunately Dallas's eyes are getting better after a week of putting eye drops in four times a day! Let me just say that's pretty hard to do with a three year old, but D did pretty good. By the end it didn't really even bother him. I am so glad. Unfortunately Dallas is still really congested in the sinus and his tonsils are huge as well as the fact that he can no longer hear as well as he used too. Also upsetting is that he cannot enunciate as well as he used to either. I think that because of the above conditions he will need his tonsils out. I had mine out when I was six, and I know Dallas is pretty young, but I can hear him breathing even when doors are shut. Therefore Monday we are going to see the otolarynologist and see what he thinks. I hope he is proactive and says let's just take those baby's out, but we'll see.
Ace is getting so close to being done with tax season I can't hardly wait. After that he has orals and then graduation and sofi's blessing and then I hope our home will settle down a little bit! Oh well the blessing's have been tremendous this year with a healthy baby and still having our jobs, with a roof over our head, so who can complain really!
