Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays to everyone! We're gearing up for me to finish out the semester. Jyl, Dallas and I have all been sick lately, I think it's the end of semester blues!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were grateful to see you all. As you can see, we snuck away for a little R&R in our second favorite resort town. It was a blast.

Dallas is graduating to his big boy bed here pretty soon. It's hard to believe he's old enough for that!

Well, we love hearing from you all, and know how busy the holidays are, so Happy Holidays to everyone. May we remember to keep the meaining of Christmas with us all year long!

Ace's new Job

This is Dallas Jay after his party in his new pajama's riding his new cruiser from grandma and grandpa Bailey, he loves it!! Ace has a new job at ISU as an accountant. We are so excited. He starts on Thursday and we can't wait! It was really hard for him to leave Ireland Bank, but we know it was the right decision in the end!

Dallas Jay at his turning 2 birthday party! He was so excited about his new toys. The funny thing that happened was Ace and I have been working so hard to get him to say thank you and he just would not. When he was opening his presents Ace asked him to say thank you and he finally said it as clear as a bell. That is one of the highlights in a parents life!!

Dallas Jay loving his glasses

Mister Cool Joe Himself! These past couple of weeks have been fun. We finanlly finshed our basement and moved out of our storage unit! Yeah! Pictures later. Ace built some serious storage in our garage. It's funny because other then Holiday decorations and Ski gear, we don't store much, but we have tubs full of baby stuff, that someday (who knows when and no ideas on when you think it should be) we will hopefully put to good use!

Again going to the camera!

Those are his cousins Elle and Paige at his side.

Dallas Jay getting excited for the camera!

What is new in Pocatello

We have moved!! Ace and I finally bought our first home and are so excited (I'll post pictures later)! I started my first job as an RDH at Johnson and Snow dental and love it! For those of you who may not know what that is, it is a dental hygienist. Ace is applying to accounting firms here in Pocatello and resumed his master's program here at ISU. He should be finished by fall of 2008! Dallas Jay is a crazy little boy. When we read books he likes to point out the dirt and as you probably guessed also loves to play in the dirt. Fortunately Jess and Brooke built a nice sandbox for him to play in! He is still running with his head down and should probably wear a football helmet all of the time! Today he has three lovely little bruises on his forehead alone! I suppose that is the joy of being younger, as I am still in the young category, and just plowing forward with no concerns about the future. Last week my mom took Dallas to Stanley and he loved every minute of it, especially the dirt. I never did see the worst of it, but his clothes came home black! Ace and I went up Saturday and enjoyed boating on Stanley Lake with everyone. We loved the beach and only had a surprise when we realized the beach we were on happened to have leaches!!!! Dallas had one on his toe that had begun feeding and I can tell you that for a person that does not like to touch bugs I yanked that disgusting thing off on the first try. That must be the mother in me kicking in! I hope all of you had a fun holiday and enjoyed the break!
